Our Solution
One Loan Fund is a micro-loan program that helps rural unbanked women in Central and South America to escape poverty long-term and sustain economic inclusion through funding and distributing micro-loans. Our micro-loans act as financial resources that break down barriers and foster long-term income sustaining labor for the women we empower. Curbing gender inequalities and poverty in the process.
The Problem
The banking system in Latin America is vastly underdeveloped, 122 million are unbanked. Many are women. Isolated from financial resources, women don't have access to economic opportunity making many trapped in poverty and systematically excluded from resources needed to develop economies.
Impact of Micro Loans
Microloans are utilized in the developing world to provide unbanked individuals with the means to establish small businesses, generating income and employment opportunities that directly address poverty at the grassroots level, while also promoting financial inclusion and fostering local economic growth.
